In Close Up on Murder, Britt’s back in Spirit Lake recharging before her next assignment in South Sudan, when two murders and a string of threats against her brother set her in action. Are they hate crimes or a long-buried act of revenge?
Coming March 2015!
I’d love to hear what you think of this draft cover for the second book in my Spirit Lake Mystery Series.
It’s good! Love the lake in background — very pretty — and the close up on what must be a key element (with blood!).
Thanks, Shelley! Did you pick up on the image at the bottom or is it too light?
I love this cover! The colors of the lake photo are gorgeous and so evocative. Likewise the bloody boat. Having the photographer where the wolf was on your last cover — nice. Can’t wait to read the book!
It looks great, Linda — love it!
Thanks, Pam! It’s an interesting process and I’m glad you love it!
Love it to the max!!!!! Also, great blurb! jg
Thanks, June! I’m glad you liked the blurb too. 🙂
Love the blurb…makes you want to read it. Cover is great. A bit hard to see Britt.
Thanks, Sherry! I wondered about the image at the bottom. Glad you like the blurb! Those are tricky to write. 🙂
Great picture of boat and blood. Very realistic with the sun hitting the boat. Makes me want to go fishing. With fish blood, of course. Brit with the camera – didn’t pick up on it at first, but being subtle, is good.
Hi Greg! Thanks for commenting. Happy fishing! 🙂
Love the cover. Can’t wait to read it! Didn’t see Brit at first, but I think that’s a good thing.
Thanks for the comment, Laura! I’m glad you like it.
I like it. It’s uncluttered and very eye catching. There’s a mysterious tone to it.
Thanks for your feedback, Carol! I’m glad you like it.
Great cover. Thanks for stopping by my blog post! I used to live in Newport Beach, one row back from the ocean. Also write mystery books and recently posted the cover for my new one. I think we are living in parallel universes! And I believe I read the first book in your series – my mind is like Swiss Cheese some times so I will go look it up!
Hi Noelle! I lived in CDM, a few blocks from the beach and used to ride my bike around the back bay and along the coast to Huntington Beach, etc. 🙂 Good luck with your series. I’m definitely checking it out, and thanks for commenting!
